Instead of going on coffee runs and making copies, you’ll be seated at the table making critical decisions that will influence not only your team, but the overall achievement of Tesla’s mission.

About the Teams
As an intern you will partner with experienced IT infrastructure and automation engineers to help design, build, and manage the underlying infrastructure that runs various services for all business units. Below are a few of the teams under our IT Operations umbrella.
Teams
IT Help Desk: Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving endpoint issues, install and support systems, and assist with the day-to-day operations for Tesla’s global IT infrastructure to provide for the growth of Tesla’s initiatives.
IT Manufacturing Support: Responsible for supporting the manufacturing floor for various needs of processing data, troubleshooting various IT issues, maintaining printers, review SOPs, and support tactical changes.
IT Operations:  Responsible for the process of managing the day-to-day IT infrastructure including managing the provisioning, capacity, performance and availability of the computing, networking and application environment. They are also responsible for reviewing data and documenting process flows
IT Analyst: Responsible for managing vendor and asset management along with managing IT budget, vendor RFPs and much more. The ideal candidate would need to have an IT background with a strong background in math, business analytics, experience in project management, finance, data science, and strong communication skills
Unified Communications Team: Team is responsible in working with our Telecommunications engineers and manage various parts of business communication platforms. Team is looking for candidates who have experience or strong understanding in software programming/ development as well as experience in design and development of voice user interface such as IVR/Speech Applications VOICEXML, GRXML, CCXML, TWIML.
Minimum Qualifications
·         Experience with managing the following; Linux (Ubuntu, Centros, Red Hat), or 802.11 wireless network concepts
·         Experience in Scripting language such as Python, Shell, Powershell.
·         Familiarity with end point system management tools (SCCM, JAMF, intune) and supporting mobile devices
·         Knowledge and experience with Ticketing systems
·         Ability to self-manage in a fast-paced environment and communicate cross functionally
