Summary
This position is located in a State Office and serves as a Student Trainee (Civil Engr) under the Pathways Intern Program. The intern will receive formal education as well as on-job-training within the area of Civil Engineering, which requires general knowledge of physical sciences and mathematics. The work will also consist of different prescribed tasks and provide a good understanding of the structure and work flow of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Receives On-the-job training which involves specific assignments working within an engineering environment.
- Performs a variety of specific tasks typically designed to provide training and experience in the application of basic scientific knowledge pertinent to the functions of the organization in which the position is located.
- Receives on-the-job training from the Civil Engineer in order to understand and complete limited engineering projects; accomplish developmental assignments utilizing basic techniques, procedures and methods.
