Biostatistician

The position will support clinical studies by developing statistical analysis plans for clinical trials and providing outputs for the final statistical report. This position will be point of contact for internal questions pertaining to the statistical analysis. The position will also assist in supporting analyses for different clinical studies such as precision and reproducibility, interfering substances, limit of detection (LOD), exclusivity and inclusivity, method comparisons, accuracy, and linearity carried out by the Research and Development (R&D) or the Clinical Affairs groups.

Responsibilities:

•Develop Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP) and compute sample sizes.

•Generate statistical outputs such as tables, listings and figures to support the clinical study report.   

•Stay current on product development issues and stages of clinical trials by attending research review and development team meetings.

•Support R&D with statistical support and advise as needed.      

•Keep up with current statistical and computation methods.        

 

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or related field such as public health or epidemiology with strong statistical background. Master’s degree preferred.

•0-2 years statistical analysis experience preferred

•Statistical programing experience in SAS/R.

•Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
