Job Description:
Systems Security Checking for Distributed OS systems
· Experience in (Windows, RHLinux, AIX, Solaris, HP-UX)
· As Security Delivery Specialist, you are responsible to support clients and account team in identifying and resolving security, regulatory, risk, and compliance issues, exposures and vulnerabilities. You will demonstrate professionalism to maintain a pulse on security industry trends/concerns/issues, while pursuing and maintaining multiple certifications in key security regulatory, risk and compliance disciplines.
· As a trusted partner to the client and the account team, you will provide leadership in identifying actions and developing mitigation plans to minimize risk and improve compliance on the account, and act as a subject matter expert to delivery in support of their execution plans
· Act as a key integrator of Security, Risk, Regulatory and Compliance offerings, services and solutions across IBM and 3rd parties, ensuring end-to-end execution quality and effectiveness
· Identify weaknesses and potential threats to existing information security toolsets
· Prepare reports for internal and external clients detailing the security issues, making recommendations and identifying solutions
· Formulate an IT security incident response strategy and implement a method of notifying parties
· Support the business with a range of compliance requirements
· Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Minimum 6+ years overall professional experience in Security Consultant and 3+ year of relevant experience.
· Experience in Windows, RHLinux, AIX, Solaris, HP-UX
· Ability to work as part of a team but also independently and on own initiative
· Flexible approach to tasks that may change daily
· Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
· Certifications on ISO, CISM or CISSM are recommended.
