Wireless Algorithms Designer

Wireless Algorithms Designer
 
This position will involve research, design, and modeling of resource allocation and optimization algorithms for wireless systems. Key required skills include:
 
(a) Solid background in Markov Decision Processes, graph processing, and related fields
(b) Development and implementation experience of high-complexity optimization algorithms
(c) Good knowledge of wireless systems and basics of probability theory.
 
The candidate will be responsible for participating in research projects and working with a team of research scientists to model, design, implement and test system level solutions. Travel might be required about one week per month. Additionally, the candidate will also participate in preparing presentations and demonstrations for technical information exchanges with the end customer. Over time, the candidate will take on leadership roles and provide assistance with writing research proposals in various areas of wireless systems.
 
Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD.
 
Preference:
  • M.S. with 3+ years of experience or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Established record of design and implementation of optimization algorithms.
  • Software development experience with MATLAB, C, C++, and familiarity with source control tools such as "git"
  • U.S. Citizen with a current security clearance of SECRET or above, or the ability to obtain a security clearance
