Strategic Operations Associate

HRS is looking to add a Strategic Operations Associate to our team. You will be working alongside the COO and other departments to facilitate internal communication and provide cross-functional support on all operations-focused projects.

This is a full-time position based in Hoboken, NJ.

Who you are

  • Reports directly to the COO
  • Serves as the facilitator of information between COO and all departments of HRS- logistics, client success, product, sales, finance, support, and development
  • Generate novel analyses that educate business decisions and drive KPI execution (e.g. productivity, cycle time, quality)

What you’ll be doing

  • Facilitate necessary operational initiatives and projects between teams to improve quality of HRS
  • Help coordinate and schedule internal meetings
  • Help in all areas of the business and take tactical items from COO and drive to completion

What we’re looking for

  • Hyper-communication
  • 1-3 years’ experience of previous work experience
  • Technical in nature
  • Self-starter, solutions focused, action oriented and mission driven
  • Comfortable operating in a fluid environment with little direction

  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills including the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners and donors
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Emotional and intellectual maturity.
  • Resourceful team-player, with the ability to be effective independently.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Certification in Six Sigma / lean / other process improvement methodologies
