Description of Agero:
Agero’s mission is to rethink the vehicle ownership experience through a powerful combination of passionate people and data-driven technology. As a leading B2B provider of next-gen driver assistance services, Agero is pushing the industry in a new direction, taking manual processes and redefining them as digital, transparent and connected. This includes: a transformative roadside event management platform powered by Swoop, a San Francisco based software company acquired in 2018; comprehensive accident management services; knowledgeable consumer affairs and connected vehicle capabilities; and intuitive tow dispatch software.
The company protects 115 million vehicles in partnership with leading automobile manufacturers, insurance carriers and other diversified clients. Managing one of the largest national networks of service providers, Agero responds to approximately 12 million service events annually. Agero, a member company of The Cross Country Group, is headquartered in Medford, Mass., with operations throughout North America and Europe. To learn more, visit www.agero.com.
Internship:
Agero is seeking an analytical leader interested in building strategic plans and driving initiatives from ‘plan to pilot’. Analytical skills, an ability to influence others, and an entrepreneurial mindset will be critical for this role. An interest in how technology is improving consumer experiences in the automotive industry would be helpful.
Two opportunities to improve drivers’ roadside assistance experience are in scope for the internship. For the first opportunity, the intern will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop a strategic plan. For the second opportunity, Agero is seeking an intern to help launch a pilot program in a US test city.
The role will involve working closely with Agero’s Strategy, Product, and Operations teams, in addition to leaders at top automotive firms. Target timeline is 3 months starting on June 1.
