LACI's Advanced Prototyping Center (APC) Fellowship Program
The LACI APC Fellowship Program is a multi-tiered workforce training pipeline program to provide technical training, interpersonal skills, and industry-recognized certifications to succeed in the green economy. Participants in the program are paired with LACI startups and partners for internships and job opportunities—all part of our mission to build an inclusive green economy.
The APC Fellowship Program timeline is as follows:
June 12 – Virtual Career Exploration Day
50 students participate in an experimental learning day at LACI (virtually) to explore careers in the cleantech sector.
June 29 – Virtual Technical Bootcamp (six weeks)
30 students are selected to participate in a six-week technical bootcamp focused on EV charger maintenance and troubleshooting.
August 17 – Career Fair
Students are invited to participate in a career fair with LACI startups, partner organizations and employers.
August 24 – Internship
Graduates will receive three months of technical support from training contractors to ensure they are providing quality maintenance services.
