About the Position
Muse Capital is searching for an exceptional and highly motivated summer intern. This internship is a great opportunity to learn the ins and out of VC at a growing firm.
As an intern, you will join and support the investment team in meeting founders, evaluating new deals, researching competitive market dynamics, as well as participate in weekly partner meetings to get exposure to portfolio management and all other aspects of VC.

- Capable of managing many projects in parallel with an ability to prioritize
Ability to go above and beyond
- Detail-oriented
- Strong research and communication skills
- Demonstrated passion for technology and start-up companies along with a keen interest in a VC career
- Ability to produce well designed professional looking Keynote/Powerpoint presentations
- Analytical ability. Must be able to ask relevant questions, analyze data effectively, extract insights
- Strong knowledge of Excel/Google Spreadsheets, ability to create and analyze financial models, as well as ability to develop models that help with decision-making
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, sense of discretion, and work ethic
- Ability to handle large amounts of information and summarize it into simple, actionable key points
- Experience in various sectors of financial analysis is a plus
- Must be a senior or recent graduate (1-2 years)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop investment insights and hypotheses by conducting market, product, customer, and financial due diligence
- Create robust financial models for potential investee companies
- Draft investment memos
- Analyze competitive landscape
- Conduct market research and develop theses on industries of interest
- Support team on quarterly reporting
- Monitor and track deal opportunities into company database
- Participate and contribute to Muse Capital’s weekly meetings in which new investments and portfolio companies are discussed
- Summarize call notes
- Support the Partners and Investment Associate as needed
