Operations Analyst

GRIN is seeking a talented and self-driven learner to be our new Operations Analyst. You will work closely with our Senior Manager of Revenue Operations to track and collect on customer payments and debt owed to GRIN. This may involve reaching out to companies and individuals to resolve overdue payments or outstanding balances via phone and or email. This role will also be the key contact for Sales and Customer Success teams by responding and resolving complex billing questions, collection issues, escalations and assisting with payment methods changes or inquiries.
 
While GRIN is headquartered in Sacramento, CA, this position is fully remote optional. GRIN has a Remote First work policy, meaning remote, or "work from home", is the default. GRIN has office space available if you decide to go into the office a few days a week, but this is not required. 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:
- Performing monthly reconciliation and analysis on accounts receivable and and collections
- Ensuring that all activities related to the position of Operations Analyst are accomplished in an ethical, prudent, and secure manner
- Reducing aging accounts receivables
- Set-up of new customer subscriptions and general management of subscriptions
- Implementing processes and policies to keep A/R low
- Effectively manage key operations tasks with minimal supervision
- Analyzing customer trends to predict and minimize bad debt

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred 
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- General accounting knowledge
- Experience with collections
- Possess a positive, learning mindset along with a detail-oriented, analytical approach to solving problems
- MUST be someone who isn’t shy and is willing to ask questions/challenge current process or raise a flag if something doesn’t look right
- Has the ability to coordinate and manage potentially complex projects cross-functionally
- Entrepreneurial, problem solving, “find a way” attitude and team player
- Extremely trustworthy, respectful, and dependable
- Self-motivated and possess a growth mindset
- High level of integrity
- You are self-directed and can balance operating independently with direction checkpoints
- Customer-first attitude with a focus on problem-solving
