Bessemer Fellowship Program

A Bessemer Fellow is no ordinary intern. We place you with some of the fastest-growing technology companies in the world to acquire invaluable work experience and access to mentors, industry professionals and the Bessemer Fellows community.

You will work at a Bessemer funded company for 8-12 weeks over the summer of 2021. In addition, you will spend time with various Bessemer teams learning more about investment, operations, and receive individualized career advice. There will be several social events and opportunities to hear from thought leaders within the Bessemer portfolio.

A Bessemer Fellow is a special appointment for high-performing students interested in engineering, product, or data science within the Bessemer Portfolio.

We accept students who have demonstrated excellence in their academic or professional pursuits and have a deep passion for entrepreneurship and innovation.

Applications are accepted for third-year undergraduate students who are available for 8-12 weeks during Summer 2021. We are particularly focused on hiring students from underrepresented backgrounds in tech.

We are appointing 20 Fellows for Summer 2021.

We will respond to applications within 2 weeks of submission. If you are invited to interview for a Fellowship position, the interviews will begin in mid-to-late August. The portfolio matching process will begin in September, lasting through Spring 2021.

Your Fellowship status is contingent on accepting an intern position at a Bessemer Venture Partners affiliated company. If you have already secured an internship position at a Bessemer funded company, you can apply for the Fellowship through the same link.
