Industrial and Operational Research - Development and Management of State of the Art Supply Chain

12 month federally funded entrepreneurial research fellowship.
Position Requirements
Applicants must:
·      Hold an earned doctoral degree in a STEM discipline from a recognized Ph.D. granting institution,
·      Earned their relevant doctoral degree within 7 years of their application to the research opportunity, and
·      Be a United States Citizen, National, or Permanent Resident of the United States at the time of application.
Emphasis will be placed on the participation of persons who are:

·      Persons with disabilities,
·      Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, and
·      First generation college graduates.**

Mirada seeks a positive and forward thinking addition to the development team that will contribute high quality work with a sense of sense of urgency. 

Desired Knowledge:
The ideal candidate will bring project based and industry experience in industrial and operational research, planning and supply chain management. The candidate will be expected to actively engage with internal and external stakeholders and lead the development of a state of the art, lean manufacturing environment and process for sensor hardware for autonomous systems. Of particular importance is the ability to build and manage a supply chain optimized for our unique product, and do so considering the lessons learned by recent global disruptions in manufacturing and supply chains.  Experimental hands-on experience will allow the candidate to immediately contribute, as well as the ability to draw from the experience of Mirada’s staff, external resources, and relevant technical literature.
