PURPOSE
To work with users and other stakeholders to define, deliver, and support functionality on our Salesforce.com platform. Implement and manage best in class SFDC (Salesforce.com) methodologies to support the Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations organizations. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Utilizing SFDC to capture and replace streamlined processes that currently do not exist or that are captured in other locations via other platforms.
  • Perform administrator functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, queues, licenses, and capacity
  • Ability to stay current with Salesforce releases and corresponding documentation
  • Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements
  • Project participation from requirements gathering to UAT and implementation
  • Management of forecasting process via SFDC.This includes creating reporting and dashboards internally and externally. Weekly meetings with the sales team to ensure that the information in the system is upgraded and accurate.
  • Defining and integrating new processes into SFDC.These could be marketing, sales, business development, service, applications, legal, quality tracking, commission etc. Specific examples below:
  • ERP integration
  • Service Support integration
  • Marketing Automation
 
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE  AND SKILLS REQUIRED/PREFERRED

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with Salesforce.Com
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Finance or related field
  • Salesforce.com certification preferred
  • Understanding of “Best in Class” Sales Operations processes
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and deliver results with aggressive timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams at all levels
  • Data management skills, including advanced Excel a plus
  • Strong research, analytical, strategic thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Data-oriented approach to iterative design and testing.
  • Ability to create and modify page layouts, custom objects, portals, reports and dashboards.
  • Understanding of sales cycles, sales models and extensive use of CRM applications, specifically Salesforce.com preferred
  • Experience in Sales Operations, enterprise software sales experience highly preferred
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and complex problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong overall business acumen and an understanding of the full potential of an CRM system to impact overall Sales operations
