Electronic File Loader Analyst

This position is responsible for transferring various CD, E-bill, FTP files or other electronic bill formats received into the correct electronic file formats to enable proper loading into the Electronic Data Management Console/AVI database. Will also support other team members in team projects and provide internal technical support.


Function 

  • Manage bill payment process for files and bill invoices that can go through the FBI (Flex Bill Import) file import tool, including working with many different types of vendors’ proprietary software; to download, extract and manipulate the data for bill payment/reporting.
  • Responsible for the research, analysis and resolution of complex file problems related to loading of detailed electronic data that is transmitted and received.
  • Reviews exceptions reports that detail problems with loading of data.
  • Researches, analyzes and determines appropriate fixes for file loading issues.
  • Sets up templates in Excel or Access when new data formats arrive to create efficiencies with the upload process.
  • Responsible for tracking the receipt, entry and distribution of the electronic files to ensure the optimal cycle times for bill processing are met as well as ensuring other users of the data get receipt of the files.
  • Manipulate, analyze, and interpret large data sets.
  • Handles increasingly difficult and complex billing issues.

  • BA/BS in Business Administration/Finance/Mathematics/MIS or Computer Science preferred, or related experience or applicable business experience required. 
  • Database experience required.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Requires advanced level experience in MS Excel, and MS Access.
  • Ability to manipulate large data sets using a variety of computer software tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
