Inventory Management Specialist
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accuracy of final results generated by the Time Phased Inventory Plan (TPIP}.
- Responsible for the final results of source data generated by planning inputs to maintain the overall item health of managed materials (e.g. planned orders, returns, and safety levels).
- Assures optimum utilization of current assets, aligning supply and demand, and supports Time to Award.
- Provides collaborative data to DLA suppliers/potential suppliers on DLA Direct Items (DD} and Customer Direct (CD} Items.
- Compares supply requirements to constraints, to identify shortfalls, and perform risk assessments.
