Manager, MIS & Analytics

Summary:
The Manager, MIS & Analytics will lead a team by establishing and executing a vision for the delivery of information and analytics platforms and solutions to the business’s key stakeholders, including, internal staff, partners and clients. This position will be ultimately responsible for helping transform the company into a business that truly differentiates and competes on analytics.
Responsibilities
  • Creating policies and procedures regarding collating and analyzing data.
  • Critically evaluating and screening data, plus profiling to identify any issues.
  • Developing new data analysis processes. Assessing analytics on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead all operations Data analytics, modeling and reporting.
  • Develop Ops dashboard and lead KPI process end to end.
  • Enhance system definition to enrich data collection and information developments.
  • Data preparation (sourcing, acquisition, integration).
  • Data warehousing.
  • Reporting, analytics, data exploration.
  • Information delivery (portals, mobile).
  • BI competency center or center of excellence (BICC or BI COE)
  • Understand systems landscape and roadmap to produce , create and enhance business analytics to support decision making process .
  • Enhances information systems results by identifying information systems technology opportunities and developing application strategies.
  • Safeguards assets by planning and implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures to preserve all analytics and BI structures, information and report.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, stablishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices and participating in professional societies.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive expertise in BI tools and related technical platforms.
  • Extensive expertise in data modeling, both logical and physical.
  • Extensive experience in multidimensional data modeling.
  • Experience in and understanding of a wide variety of analytical processes (governance, measurement, etc.).
  • Experience with agile software development.
  • A solid understanding of key BI trends.
  • General business skills:
  • Extensive experience interacting with C-level executives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience managing large complex BI projects and teams.
  • Proven ability to complete projects and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment.
  • Proven strong leadership skills within the project team and in the business community.

  • Proven ability to build and motivate a team to achieve well communicated expectations.
