Operations Associate Internship

Inovexus is a French American Accelerator with a unique cross-border approach focusing on funding & financing.

Based on early successes and with a large strategic investor coming on board, Inovexus is pivoting towards becoming the largest cross-border accelerator in France. Inovexus is ideally positioned to bridge the vibrant FrenchTech ecosystem with the US VC industry. As part of this expansion, Inovexus is looking to recruit an Operations Associate Intern based in Los Angeles, California.

The Operations Associate Intern will help support our portfolio companies, entrepreneurs and mentors throughout our program by performing industry analyses, participating in sourcing, due diligence, modeling and executing on growth and operational improvement strategies in order to maximize value to our partners, shareholders, and portfolio companies. Beyond strategic assistance, a key element of this role is to differentiate our offering through a global mindset and access to cross-border expertise. 

This opportunity is for someone looking to support founders and entrepreneurs while helping the next batch of tech startups emerge from France. The Operations Associate Intern will report to the Director of Operations.


Responsibilities 

  • Perform due diligence of investments which includes competitive research, modeling, performing interviews with company executives and creation of investment memos
  • Building operating models, defining go-to-market strategies and working cross-functionally with the rest of the team to define, track and meet key metrics.
  • Helping to create diligence, communications and onboarding processes. 
  • Managing internal databases, dashboards, and tools to ensure seamless execution of the vision for the leadership team.
  • Formulate investment cases to present to the Director of Operations, Inovexus Executives and key business partners. 
  • Developing quarterly touchpoints and thought leadership content for our portfolio companies, shareholders and the public.


Qualifications and required experience

  • Fluency in English (experience in French is a plus)
  • Prior work/internship experience with investment fund, VC, or startup accelerator/incubator is a plus
  • Experience with PitchBook platform is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to independently initiate and contribute ideas
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Strong time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
