Supply Chain Analyst

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be a part of a diverse team that collaborates with many areas of the business to solve problems and improve current processes. The Supply Chain Analyst will manage, develop, and improve Dillard’s supply chain with a specific focus on the inventory management system. The Analyst will use mathematical modeling and data analysis to develop decision models, and will communicate the business case, plans for implementation, and results to senior management and stakeholders.
 
Roles and Responsibilities
Working with all areas and levels of the company, the Analyst will improve the profitability of the supply chain. Strong communication skills are essential, and the Analyst should be prepared to work in flexible roles on diverse teams. 

The Analyst will be involved in one or more of the team’s core competencies including
  • Operations Research - Optimization, Financial and Economic Modeling, Stochastics
  • Inventory Management
  • Data Analysis
  • Statistics
  • Forecasting
  • Project Management

Required Skills
  • MS in Operations Research, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Professional presentation design and delivery
  • Clear, concise communication
  • Ability to model systems mathematically
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Proficiency with Python, R, or other languages useful for mathematical modelling
  • Team mentality 
  • Availability to travel occasionally
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to work onsite at Corporate Headquarters in Little Rock, AR during established hours

Desired Skills
  • Experience developing operations research and/or machine learning models
