Ziff Media Group- Public Relations Fellow
Overview:
Ziff Media Group is hiring a Public Relations Fellow to help manage publicity and content distribution for several publishing brands such as PCMag, Mashable, Offers.com and BlackFriday.com.
This role will report into the Director of Content Marketing.
We are looking for someone who won’t hesitate to reach out to the journalists, bloggers and other influencers who would be excited by the content we are creating. It is a great opportunity to learn and grow alongside an experienced team and try your hand at many different types of content marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Identify newsworthy stories and execute results-driven media outreach campaigns
- Brainstorm and refine campaign ideas across multiple brands and categories
- Reach out to reporters and bloggers to drive interest to our content and editors
- Develop, write and edit press outreach materials
- Build and maintain targeted media lists
- Stay up to date on newsworthy trends and identify competitor successes for internal use
- Track campaign results and report to management
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in journalism
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong team player
Nice to haves
- Experience in editorial PR
- Familiarity with monitoring services and media contact databases
- Knowledge of SEO
