Business Operations Manager

The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a
Business Operations Manager
Office of Academic Affairs
The Business Operations Manager will work closely with the Director of Academic Budget to support the budgetary, financial, and staff human resources operations for the Division of Academic Affairs. This position is responsible for providing strategic financial and budgetary support, reviews and monitors budget transfers, and assists in identifying funding for initiatives. The position will support the division with review of personnel action forms, adhering to all policies, procedures, and within the context of the UNO AAUP Collective Bargaining Agreement. Position will be responsible for evaluating, initiating, and improving best business practices through collaboration and communication. Continuous process improvement is an expectation for this role.
Required Qualifications:
·        Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field.
·        Three years’ experience in positions with increasing responsibility for independent decision making.
·        Demonstrated experience with process change implementation.
·        Ability to manage multiple budgets.
·        Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
·        Highly effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
·        Excellent skills in prioritization, high level of discretion and accuracy are required.
·        Ability to work in a team setting.
Salary Information: $60,000/year minimum
