Engineering Project Manager
Kelly Services is seeking experienced project management professionals with experience in the Heavy Highway industry to work with our partner in a Columbia, Missouri office. The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the work of multiple construction teams working on bridge and highway projects throughout Missouri and Kansas. The PM is responsible for ensuring that the work conforms to all project plans and specifications, and is completed on time and on budget. Ideal candidates will have a broad scope of knowledge and experience in heavy construction, including: grading, drainage, utilities, concrete paving, highway and bridge construction.
Additional Responsibilities
- Oversight and management of field operations;
- Scheduling all site resources;
- Ensuring the work quality/quality control;
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors;
- Monitoring and enforcing all aspects of project site safety;
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering or related field;
- Knowledge of the heavy highway construction industry;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks appropriately;
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work professionally with a team;
- Highly organized and computer proficient. Electronic document management is a daily responsibility;
- Familiarity working with City, State and Federal government agencies, the Departments of Transportation and/or U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is desirable.
