As a Supply Chain Engineer at Lutron you will:  
  • Master multiple areas of Lutron’s supply chain: 
  • Cost management 
  • Supplier quality and relationship management  
  • Raw material supply chain design 
  • Freight management 
  • Inventory and production planning  
  • Broaden your impact with opportunities to rotate through multiple teams: 
  • Procurement 
  • New product operations 
  • Logistics 
  • Corporate supply chain 
  • Learn Lutron’s business systems and processes 
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Distribution teams to ensure on-time order fulfillment throughout Lutron’s product lifecycle 
  • Develop key relationships with Lutron’s business partners, ensuring timely receipt of high-quality material and growing competencies for future business 
  • Optimize inventory levels to achieve high fill rate   
  • Mitigate and manage supply chain risk 
  • Simulate product costs based on upcoming design changes and new technologies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Supply Chain, or related discipline)  
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 
  • Desire to work collaboratively while also thriving in your professional career development 
  • Willingness to travel – examples include visiting and troubleshooting job sites, overseeing manufacturing at facilities, taking offsite training courses, accompanying a salesperson to showcase products to customers 
  • Strong work ethic and hands-on attitude 
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills   
  • Creative and analytical approach to problem solving  
  • Self-starter who is driven, goal-oriented, inquisitive and flexible 
  • Quality focused and driven with the ability to work under pressure
