We are seeking highly motivated students to join our team. We are recruiting for the following positions: 
  • Business Analyst
  • Data Analyst 
  • Market Analyst
Mining large datasets across functions with varying levels of granularity, you will find innovative ways to create connections between multiple variables that will steer product decisions, financial commitments, and business growth.
 
What is the LAUNCH Program? The LAUNCH Program is supplemental to your full-time role. You will be automatically enrolled in the LAUNCH Program during the first twelve months. In this program, you will take a deeper dive into professional life at Western Digital by getting exposure to different parts of the organization, in addition to the experience you gain from your day-to-day responsibilities. Supplemental LAUNCH Program elements include:
  • On the job training and mentorship with industry professionals

  • Executive exposure

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Current student, pursuing a quantitative analysis BS or MS degree in Mathematics, Business Analytics, MIS, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or related field and graduating between December 2020 and June 2021
  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA cumulative
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical skills in area of study
  • Interest in HDD, flash, semiconductor, components, nonvolatile memory industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and advanced proficiency in Excel 
  • Expertise in statistical data analysis (multivariate analysis, linear models, sampling models, stochastic models, or similar)
  • Experience using Python, R, SAS, or similar
  • Ability to draw connections between data analysis and business objectives
  • Experience in building forecasting models, performance monitoring and trend reports
  • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with key stakeholders
