The American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology (https://aibrt.org) is looking for talented and highly motivated students to work with distinguished psychologist Dr. Robert Epstein on various social media projects. Dr. Epstein is the former editor-in-chief of Psychology Today magazine, a Ph.D. of Harvard University, and the author of 15 books and more than 300 articles. He is also one of the most frequently interviewed psychologists in the world (https://drrobertepstein.com/index.php/media-coverage).

Interns work at a coastal facility about 30 minutes north of beautiful San Diego, California. It's close to the beach and just a short train ride away from Pacific Beach and downtown San Diego. This is an unpaid internship, although some expenses might be covered. Interns are quickly assigned to one or more projects that match their interests and learn valuable skills as they go.

We are currently looking for people to help us with social media based projects. Such projects may include creating and uploading content (audio, video, images, links, etc.) to all of AIBRT’s platforms (https://drrobertepstein.comhttps://aibrt.org/, Linked-In, Facebook, Wikipedia, etc.) . Interns will be expected to run all social media accounts for AIBRT, this includes replying to messages and comments. Interns may also be responsible for scanning the news for relevant postings and working with non-profit development interns to create and facilitate crowd funding.

Candidates should be self-starters with a knack for creativity and have strong writing skills. Skills in video and audio editing would be helpful, and so would analytical skills in order to analyze data. Candidates should have experience with a variety of social media platforms.

Summer or winter-break interns generally work at least 20 hours per week onsite. School-year interns must work a minimum of 10 hours per week onsite. All interns must commit to working at least 140 hours in order to be eligible to receive letters of recommendation.
