We are currently seeking an innovative, experienced, and highly-skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. In this role, you will work with a team of engineers and researchers to improve the performance of developing weapon concepts, and apply innovative technologies to these concepts. You will study aerodynamic systems using empirical methods, including data from wind tunnel facilities. You will contribute to research study plans for new weapon system designs, testing new materials and prototypes for future production, and reviewing the results to develop new products
 
Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related STEM field. Knowledge and understanding of state of the art materials, mathematics, science, thermodynamics, mechanics, aerodynamics, and production methods.
 
Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Dahlgren, Virginia is one of the ten Divisions of the Naval Surface Warfare Center. It is the Navy’s principal research, development, and test & evaluation laboratory for surface ship combat systems.
