Overview / Customer Profile
 -Seeking energetic professionals with expertise in cost, statistical, economic and/or quantitative analysis to support Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs within the Air Force Digital Directorate (PEO Digital).
 - AF PEO Digital is the largest directorate in the Air Force's Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), with over 3500 employees supporting 300 programs in 12 locations across the U.S. PEO Digital develops, produces and sustains a wide variety of military systems such as surveillance aircraft, radars, aerospace management, force protection, and complex information systems supporting command, control and intelligence efforts.
 - AF PEO Digital is leading the charge for the Air Force's adoption of modern technology in a number of arenas. “As members of the Digital Directorate, we must have at least a basic understanding of automation, optimization, analytics, data science, digital engineering, machine learning, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and zero trust cybersecurity strategies. We must grasp how gaming technology, augmented and virtual reality, and 5G may apply to our systems.” (Steven Wert, Program Executive Offer)

General Responsibilities:
 -Collaborate with a team of Quantech cost analysts & subject matter experts on a variety of projects
 -Develop life cycle cost estimates for DoD weapon system programs (aircraft, radar, and IT systems)
 -Analyze historical data and develop analogies and cost estimating relationships using regression analysis
 -Understand technology trends and analyze impact on cost
 -Analyze software program progress tracking tools (JIRA, Microsoft TFS, etc.) and develop metrics and insights for program managers
 -Interview functional specialists in support of estimating methodology development
 -Develop risk distributions for cost driver variables & cost estimating relationship equations
 -Analyze program schedules and quantify schedule uncertainty
 -Study, analyze, and develop metrics for complex modern software development programs
 -Build complex spreadsheet-based program cost models used as decision analysis tools
 -Apply statistics concepts to quantify the probability of success for program budget and schedule plans
 -Conduct business case analyses, trade studies and economic analyses
 -Assist program managers in development and execution of contract strategies and program plans
Candidate Strengths:
 -Proficient in analyzing datasets and developing statistical models, but also able to tackle problems by thinking outside of the box
 -Technical fast learner with the ability to communicate with multiple functional teams to gather (programmatic/technical) data and translate it into cost impacts for the government
 -Experienced problem solver, comfortable working in ambiguous environments with the ability to lead financial focused conversations with cross functional teams
 -Approachable team player with the skillset to successfully work a variety of projects and take direction from multiple sources at once
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 -Experience/coursework using data science and business intelligence tools a plus
Requirements:
 -Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret level clearance
 - 0 to 3 years of DoD or USG cost analysis experience or relevant experience in quantitative analysis positions (economic analysis, analytics, statistics, regression)
Education:
 -Must have a BS/BA with 21 semester hours in quantitative analysis courses, plus 3 semester hours of Calculus or Statistics
 -Typical Degrees: Math, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Economics, Data Science, Computer Engineering

Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
