As a Sales Intern for Gallo Sales Company, you will build relationships through face-to-face interactions with employees, as well as promoting a vast portfolio of wine & spirits including brands such as High Noon, Apothic, Barefoot, New Amsterdam Vodka, etc. Ultimately, you will learn about the industry, sales within Gallo as a whole and career paths.

Job Summary
The Sales Internship Program is designed to advance the employee’s growth and develop personal selling techniques to maximize the sale and distribution of Gallo brands with existing and prospective accounts. You will shadow current employees throughout the sales organization as a means of achieving perspective and learning what a career path could look like with Gallo in sales.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Takes direction while supporting the functions of the distributor sales team.
  • Participates in calls on accounts to provide service and merchandising support.
  • Lifts and moves cases of wine while demonstrating how to merchandise and building displays.
  • Participates in developing positive relationships with customers and prospective customers.
  • Participates in design critiques when appropriate.
  • Executes intern project and presents to senior leaders.
 
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • 21 years of age or older by time of internship (Summer 2021)
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree; or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Required to be physically capable of executing all essential functions to perform the job.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Required to obtain a California  driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire.

  • Junior class standing at an accredited college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree.
