The main objective of our Professional Services’ teams is to implement and maintain the product(s) purchased by our client and prospective customers. Our PS teams consult with our clients on processes related to: the use of our products, implementation of the product(s), and enablement so that they can understand and use our products to their full potential. With this objective, our Professional Services employees have a variety of responsibilities including, relationship building with clients, advising, liaising with the Product team, mitigating escalation issues, liaising with Customer Success, managing expectations, timelines, and budgets, and being experts in our products and the services they provide.
The Associate Implementation Consultant (AIC) Development Program is a two year training and development program. During the first 6 months of training, new hires will get gain an in-depth understanding about Medidata, our clients, and our products. Progress of the candidates will be heavily monitored with the expectation of significant growth through exposure to comprehensive training and mentorship throughout the program. Following the first milestone, the participant will then start their transition of applying those particular skills to work on given projects more independently. The last 12 months, the participant will work in conjunction with regular FTE employees and will present and execute their large pillar project. After the two year program has concluded, candidates will then have the opportunity to transition into a full-time Associate Implementation Consultant within our Professional Services Organization.
Associate Implementation Consultants work with Project Managers and other functional departments during the implementation and configuration of Medidata’s software applications for clinical studies. Once trained, AIC’s assist in authoring specification documents and in configuring study design during the development of clinical studies using Medidata’s suite of products.
