The CRM DATA ANALYST is expected to be a very active participant in a fast-moving policy-driven environment. This position will lead and expand our EveryAction is seeking a CRM DATA ANALYST who enjoys digging into data to drive operational performance, in a complex, matrixed environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, structured, analytical thinker and highly collaborative team player who is proactive at identifying and resolving issues. Responsibilities include:

• Supplies data-driven insights on communities across the US.
• Owns the collection and analysis of the organization’s data inputs
• Communicates problems and opportunities to inform product strategy

CRM DATA ANALYST reports to the Director of Operations, Director of Community Outreach

Primary Responsibilities
 Utilizing cross-functional data to correlate trends and identify strategic actions
• Interfacing with all functions in the organization (Engineering, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Finance) to ensure availability of cross-functional data
• Advocating for best practices in tools and instrumentation (e.g., address data integrity issues)
• Preparing reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to inform strategy
  • Automating data correlation, analysis, and reporting at every opportunity
  • A team player who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience editing, formatting, and creating website content, with an attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills, comfortable presenting data
  • A minimum of four years relevant experience with a proven track record
  • Experience with a policy organization or on Capitol Hill is a plus
  • Rapid response experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Design and update content for organizational and project websites
  • Advise the organization on the best use of social media and ensure a social media strategy is integrated into all communications efforts
  • Set benchmarks and provide performance data to inform organization-wide decision-making and ensure targets are met
  • Monitor the stakeholder landscape and respond to market changes and developments
  • Ensure our website and digital engagement tools are user-friendly, easy to understand and navigate
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with communications firms and developers as needed
  • Continuously propose and implement recommendations to improve the performance of our digital touchpoints — this includes ad spend, user experience, ad creative/copy, keyword targets, landing pages, webpages, etc.
Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media (Twitter and Facebook) trends, analytics and scheduling tools
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills -- able to establish and implement systems and identify resources to ensure successful completion of projects
  • Knowledge and experience using tools such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva is required



Fellowship Overview: Interns will have access to the Program Director and President Dr. Esam Omeish (the project’s founder) to explore, discuss, brainstorm, inquire, or develop all aspects and functions of their work. Dr. Esam Omeish prioritizes communication and accessibility to interns to identify opportunities to provide helpful insight and direction.

Fellowship descriptions vary but may include desk research, drafting documents, assisting with event planning, helping researchers prepare for missions, monitoring human rights developments in various countries, data analysis, liaising with current and prospective donors, and engaging in advocacy efforts aimed at curtailing human rights violations.

Internship Commitment: 15-20 hours per week; 5 months. The position is part-time and remote, which involves some collaboration with a small and motivated team. 

Weekly Schedule: Interns will be responsible for a set amount of hours each week (20-25 hours per week) to fulfill tasks. You may work remotely online. 



Benefits of Fellowship: Upon completing a successful internship, President Dr. Esam Omeish will serve as a professional reference and advocate for interns. Internship durations may be set by university partners providing academic credit (you are encouraged to explore these options within your institution; however, academic credit is not required to intern with LAA). If obtaining academic credit, the hour restrictions, payment restrictions, and other work-related matters are guided by university provisions.  

Compensation: At the conclusion of a successful three-month work period (roughly the length of a long semester), a $4000 stipend will be issued upon completion. $800 every month will be sent via paypal or venmo.
