Operations & Supply Chain Associate
roomie is redefining the way college students move in and furnish their dorms or off campus apartments. By giving students smarter options, roomie is able to keep more furniture in homes and out of landfills.
As an Operations & Supply Chain Associate, you will be responsible for successfully managing the move-ins, move-outs, and day-to-day operations. You'll collaborate closely with the supply chain and logistics teams and will report to the COO.
What you'll do:
- Act as a logistics and operations coordinator for all move-ins and move-outs across colleges, universities, reverse logistics, and barracks
- Manage and train on-the-ground logistics teams to ensure all move-ins and move-outs go smoothly
- Complete a pre-assigned route of deliveries and/or pickups in a given day, including delivery via walk-up or service elevator, onsite assembly, and trash removal
- Assist in loading the delivery vehicle each day with furniture for delivery to customers.
Who you are:
- B.A. expected 2021 or earlier
- Experience with operations and logistics or supply chain management
- Open to living in NYC
