February to Mid-April 2021


COMMITMENT


View approximately 4 to 6 films per week


JOB DESCRIPTION


The Vail Film Festival is seeking students or recent graduates with backgrounds in Cinema and Media, Literature, or Communication to help support the film programming department. Selected candidates will be a part of the core screening committee for feature and documentary film submissions, and will be exposed to the programming process.



These are unpaid positions. Scheduling is flexible as the viewing is done on your own schedule. The position is best suited for someone who is passionate about cinema.



This position is open to all – you do not have to be a student to apply.

○ Knowledge of or strong interest in independent cinema

○ Able to meet deadlines

○ Availability for the length of the festival programming period (February to mid-April)
