Machine Learning Scientist
Design and implement innovative computer-vision and deep-learning algorithms for multiple applications, including wireless and advanced driver-assistance systems.
The Role:
- Design and implement innovative computer vision and deep learning algorithms for multiple applications
- For ADAS applications, 4D modeling to reconstruct 3D models of dynamic scenes to provide situational awareness in large operational areas
- Object detection and tracking to provide localization of relevant objects in scenes
- Understanding problems where limited measured training data is available using techniques such as transfer learning and domain adaptation.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in a scientific field such as computer science, physics, math, data science or physics, or equivalent experience
- Experience with computer vision and machine learning research based on deep convolutional networks
- 1-5 years of practical experience applying ML and statistics to solve complex problems
Preferred:
- 2+ years of practical experience applying state-of-the-art ML and computer vision techniques to large multimodal data sets
- Track record of research in ML and CV technologies in high impact publications
- Strong fundamentals in problem solving, complexity analysis, and algorithm design
- Proven experience deploying solutions at scale into prototype and production systems
