2021 Summer Intern Operational Excellence (Remote)

Purpose

AVANGRID, an innovative and growing energy company, needs a creative and ambitious college student to join our Operational Performance team. You will take part in an Internship program to learn our business inside and out. If you are looking to broaden your skills sets and learn more about careers in energy, apply today.As part of our program, you will support the delivery of transformation projects and drive major businesstransformation and process change (both cultural and technical) across the Networks organization within the Operational Excellence team. The Candidate will work effectively across a diverse range of areas spanning multiple business
units, such as Electric and Gas, Operations and Projects, General services, Processes and Technology, Customer Services, Planning and Regulation to enable effective change and realization of projected benefits.
 

Responsibilities

 
Participate in a dynamic internship program where you’ll work on reliability improvements major projects within the Operational Excellence team and Operations, Projects, Customer Services and Processes and Technology groups.
  • Work with Operational team to develop your Analytical and Technical skills.
  • Work in an innovative and energized environment with a chance to make an impact.
  • Create a comprehensive presentation of your work completed during the program for presentation to the wider organization at the conclusion of the program.

 Education & Experience Required:
  • Currently a sophomore or junior pursuing an Engineer, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science Bachelor’s or first year in Masters/MBA
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without the requirement for future sponsorship
