Are you curious about what the next generation of e-commerce will look like and how billions will shop in the next 5-10 years? Do you want to be a part owner at a revolutionary company, where you’ll contribute to complex business cases?

At Wayfair, we are redefining the way our customers can shop for furniture & home goods using cutting edge technologies. We are looking for self-starters with an entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity, and passion for driving digital solutions.

Who We Are:
Catalog Media is a growing team at Wayfair that builds technology to power the creation of photoreal imagery using 3D models. If we succeed, we’ll fundamentally change e-commerce. We’re looking for folks excited by this challenge who want to build digital solutions that will change the way a billion people shop online.

Within Catalog Media, our Advanced Analytics & Algorithms team provides the analytical expertise to help us create new intelligent capabilities. We are responsible for industrializing the “art” behind 3D asset creation at Wayfair by incubating new decision support or automation capabilities which help us build assets better, faster, and cheaper. Our team has a mix of backgrounds, but we all have a shared passion for hacking hard problems and the skill set required to do that.

What You’ll Do:
  • Quickly become an expert on internal datasets and identify how these datasets could be leveraged in advanced analytics solutions
  • Support the Advanced Analytics team in prototyping advanced analytics or machine learning algorithms to automate aspects of 3D asset creation
  • Partner with teams in the broader 3D org (e.g. Operations, Creative, Technical Artists, etc.) to pilot using your solution in their workflows

What You’ll Need:
  • Strong academic record and pursuing an undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Math, Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences)
  • Fluency in a programming language; Python and SQL are ideal
  • Desire to work on a collaborative team that likes to whiteboard ideas as a group; we fundamentally believe that we all have something to learn from each other
