Technical Rotation Program - Data Science

The purpose of the Technical Rotation Program (TRP) is to recruit and hire top, diverse, entry level talent, and expose them to various parts of the business in order to better prepare them for future technical and/or managerial leadership roles. The Technical Rotation Program is a two-year program during which participants will rotate through three, eight-month rotations. At the end of the program, participants are placed in an area of the business that matches their background and interests. The TRP is open to upcoming graduates in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent degree

The Data Science and Analytics Center is a new and exciting area within Lexmark, tasked with the mission of raising Lexmark’s data overall level of data literacy, provide a central location for data minded people to collaborate, and of course, to make Lexmark a better business through the use of state of the art data science tools and techniques. In this area, you will have a chance to work with people from all corners of the business from Marketing to R&D, from Supply Chain to HR, from Service to Manufacturing. You will also have a chance to learn or develop your skill in the exciting new areas of machine learning and deep learning. 
 
Job Description 
Work with different functional teams and stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions. Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, supply chain optimization and business strategies. Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques. Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets. Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, product development, and other business outcomes. Provide support to the development and business area communities for Lexmark data sources, data visualization / dashboards and analysis.

Education 
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or similar field (Math, Computer Science, Engineering)
