Business Data Analyst Intern

We are currently recruiting for a Business Data Analyst Intern at one of our facilities in the United States.
Business Data Analyst Interns support our efforts in developing an analyst structure by participating in projects that showcase multiple levels of analytics, while also participating in a formalized Summer Internship Program. The goal of the program is to enhance student’s business acumen through continuous learning and networking opportunities. Throughout the summer, interns have the opportunity to:
•Participate in a series of webinars that focus on professional networking, communication and presentation skills
•Listen and ask questions to our executives through our Executive Speaker Series
•Collaborate with other interns across the U.S. and Canada on a Capstone Project that focuses on improving various aspects of our business for our customers
•Travel to Westerville, OH to present their Capstone Project to leadership teams at the Intern Capstone Event, which is hosted at the end of each summer at our headquarters
•Network with other interns and business leaders across all regions and business segments within the organization
•Be considered for full time roles
Interns will participate in various projects beyond the Capstone that could include:
•Development of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models
•Data analysis to identify opportunities
•Simulation of systems and/or processes
•Implementing data visualization for discovery and real-time insight
•Designing and developing data gathering and reporting solutions
•Coordinating with Operations, Systems, and Engineering teams to drive process improvement initiatives
The intern is expected to:
•Communicate complex findings and recommendations to influence others to take action through the use of data modeling and visualization
•Provide insightful data-based recommendations to improve supply chain performance and/or the customer experience
•Gain valuable practice to brief and interact with DHL executives
•Represent the vision of the analyst program for effective development
