High-impact, technical jobs for smart people.

Position summary
We are looking for an experienced Analytics Systems Admin to join our multi-tenant hosting team. As a member of Epic’s hosting team, you’ll be responsible for Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) into the Hosted SQL Server databases for Epic’s customers, and you'll also help to ensure that our customers are successfully able to mine through that data using Epic's own analytical applications, SAP BusinessObjects products, Tableau, and other reporting tools used in the industry. Ensuring quick ETLs and data integrity is paramount to success. You’ll work closely with Epic’s customers to help them with their reporting needs, ensuring that reports complete in a timely manner and issues are resolved quickly.

You’ll apply your technical knowledge and problem solving skills to determine the best ways for some of the country’s largest healthcare organizations to upload, download, and make use of their large data sets within Epic’s data warehouse. By helping to provide them access to this large pool of data, you will be part of a larger effort to transform patient care through better use of the data that these large organizations already have. Ultimately, this helps them achieve their long term goals such as a reduction in rates of chronic diseases, minimization of waste in the care delivery process, and reducing the cost of doing business.

Desired:
  • Microsoft SQL/Oracle experience
  • MCSA Certification with experience administering SQL Server 2014+ databases
  • SSIS development experience
  • SAP Business Objects Enterprise 4.x server administration experience and/or certification or Tableau experience
  • Experience with ETL processes from one datasource to another

Work in your own office, eat delicious food, and travel the world.
We don’t believe in cubicles. (Well, we believe they exist, but…) You will work in an individual office that will heighten your ability to get stuff done. For lunch, visit King’s Cross or Cassiopeia for a wide array of meal options, or go to one of our smaller, themed bistros, featuring wood-rotisserie, pan-Asian, and Latin-inspired cuisine. All meals are restaurant-quality but cost only a few dollars, and they’re prepared by a culinary team comprised of kitchen talent from restaurants around the country. And, after five years here, you’ll earn a four-week sabbatical trip anywhere in the world. Staff have kayaked in Patagonia, attended a Beyoncé concert in Ireland, built a library in Tanzania, and run a marathon in Antarctica.
