This position
We are looking for an Intern to assist with Data Analysis on user behavior. You will work on a real production level machine learning system and/or dive deep into user behavioral data to answer important research questions.
What you will be doing
- Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Work with our CTO and management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
What you need in this position
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with techniques in Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning or related fields
- You have strong technical and programming skills in Java, Python or other OOP languages
- Experience with Shell scripting
- You are Enrolled/graduated in Master/PhD of computer science, statistics & applied math, or similar field
- You should have the ability to work independently within a small, creative, deadline-driven environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow professionally within a fast-moving tech startup with a global reach
