Job Description:
We’re looking for a business analyst/data analyst to help us shape the future of education. Our school partners hire us to accomplish their student success goals of enrollment, retention and graduation. We help them build income-based financing models and analyze the resulting data to quantify the impact we have for our partners. You will also play a vital role in performing and expanding the function of portfolio analysis for current clients. We are seeking someone who can perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
The candidate we’re looking for is curious, self-motivated and likes to teach themselves new skills. You welcome the challenge to learn a new tool, understand a new data set, and think creatively about how to show useful information to others in digestible, interactive formats.
You balance this with the ability to manage long term partner relationships, which we all know are critical to success in higher education.
Responsibilities
- Build data infrastructure in our data warehouse that helps us best utilize our business intelligence platform
- Track external data sources we use in our analytics and ensure we refresh our data sets whenever necessary
- Brainstorm and build new visualizations for our external clients and for internal stakeholders
- Support credit and analytics teams in developing standard reporting metrics and methods for existing portfolios
- Contribute to the development of product offerings to meet the needs of our customers

Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with data
- Comfortable working with Snowflake, Looker, SQL, Python, Excel
- Experience or interest in the higher education industry
- Preference will be given to candidates able to start immedicately

- Experience with SQL, Excel, business intelligence platforms
