Human Resources Intern Job Description
 
Fortinet, a leading global cybersecurity company, is looking to bring a Human Resources Intern for a remote internship program starting in June 2021.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to take the initiative, is self-motivated and a quick learner, and wants to gain broad experience supporting the human resources department. The intern will get to work on an impactful project, and participate in multiple lunch and learn session with our executives, networking activities, and project showcasing during the internship. In this role, you will partner with the members of HR Operations and HRIS Team to work on business critical projects that are important to Fortinet’s Human Resources department

Responsibilities Include: 
  • Learning State, Federal and Fortinet specific HR processes by performing tasks as assigned 
  • Participate in creating amazing programs and initiatives that reinforce our company culture and help our team come together and thrive 
  • Participate in HR projects and coordinate employee events 
  • Meet with HR Operations and HRIS team members regularly to discuss open issues and suggest solutions
  •  Help with Employee onboarding transactions data input in the Oracle HCM system
  • Help with User Guides and Training documentation for Responsive UI rollout.


Qualification 
  • Currently a Junior or rising Senior enrolled in a four-year degree program in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications or related field with expected graduation date winter 2021 or spring 2022 
  • A passion for cybersecurity and an aptitude for learning solving a complex problem 
  • The ideal candidate will be innovative, team-oriented, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change and ability to prioritize projects in a fast pace environment 
  • Must able to demonstrate strong knowledge with MS Suite, communication, speaking, and writing skills
