Order Processing and Scheduling
Tasks and responsibilities
· First contact person regarding orders.
· Organization and control of order work flow.
· Order processing:
§ Enter new orders in the SL-admin software and calculate the price
§ Detailed planning in the production schedule
§ Create product drawings using proprietary software
§ Send the order confirmation papers to our customer
§ Accurately file order paperwork
§ Create AutoCad drawings for special configurations.
· Material procurement for the commissions:
§ Create glass and coating orders and forward to purchasing manager.
§ Keep track of orders in process.
· Preparation of work:
§ Create all working papers.
§ Schedule the work in consultation with the production manager
§ Keep the order board/production schedule updated.
§ Distribute all working papers.
§ Inform customer in consultation with the plant manager regarding delays & changes.
· Miscellaneous:
§ Responsible for the cleanliness of your own work area.
§ Responsible for processing spare part & service orders. Confirm service orders.
· Improvement suggestions.
· Position reports directly to the manager.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of technical data and mechanics.
- Good understanding of business administration regarding order management and procurement.
- Good understanding of all quality requirements.
- Awareness of responsibilities.
- Ability to cope with pressure, flexibility, team spirit and reliability.
Solarlux-Nana Mfg LLC works on a State approved modified work week and the usual business hours are as follows:
Monday thru Thursday 6:00am til 3:05pm
Friday 6:00am til noon.
