Business Intelligence Analyst
Purpose of Position:
The Business Intelligence Analyst will assist other business stakeholders with reports and data necessary to make informed business decisions for the company. They will have strong analytical and forecasting skills, understanding not only the data but the business processes behind it.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work closely with executives and other stakeholders to determine reporting goals
· Gather and analyze user requirements to design and implement new reports, graphs, charts, and dashboards
· Research, develop and implement data gathering methods
Build and optimize mobile friendly visualizations and reports
Qualifications:
· Proficiency in writing and tuning complex SQL queries (Oracle preferred)
· Experience with relational databases
· Experience with ETL and Data Warehousing
· Expertise with Microsoft Power BI
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Ability to communicate with developers and be the translator to the business stakeholders
· Possessing of a collaborative mindset
· Ability to pivot quickly as priorities and deadlines evolve
· Experience in retail or ecommerce operations preferred
· Experience in Domo a plus
Education/Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or related field required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Power Query and Power BI
· A minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence analytics preferred
