#1027 - Data Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

The following essential job functions are performed as a Data Analyst:
  • Research, compile, analyze, and report various operational data.
  • Develop metrics reports.
  • Develop and perform queries both independently and at direction of management.
  • Develop recommendations to improve performance.
  • Design, develop, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports that provide company leadership with information used in the decision-making process of various initiatives/projects.
  • Provide analysis on procurement, inventory, financials, etc. in direct support of the Life Cycle Services team's needs.
  • Prepare timely reports to highlight discrepancies in a dataset and accordingly suggest business rules to manage them.
  • Problem Solving - identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
  • Ability to work independently, asking for direction when needed.
  • Oral Communication - speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; demonstrates presentation skills.
  • Written Communication - writes clearly and informatively; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.
  • Provide support to internal customers as required.
  • Must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines.
  • Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 1-3 years relevant work experience.
  • Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • ERP experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with relational databases such as SQL, programming (Visual Basic, power query, or ETL frameworks).
  • Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain a government issued security clearance.

MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT USED
Regular office equipment and materials.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions normal for an office environment. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
