Architectural Interns and Job Captains

At Iron Horse Architects, we believe architecture is the physical representation of our values. The collaborative, interdisciplinary team approach we employ ensures we produce inspiring and functional environments. It is intentional. It is about listening carefully to the client, users, and team to find a solution that is true to the function, culture and values of the community, users, history and environment. A solution based in reality yet pioneering; offering new and better ways to honor the landscape with materials and construction strategies that last in addition to adding exceptional value to our clients.

With the guidance of senior staff, our Architectural Interns and Job Captains participate in all phases of projects from planning and conceptual design through construction. By documenting design and technical solutions, participating in design reviews, preparing presentation materials, researching products, organizing and maintaining material samples, assembling plans and other documents for permit applications and project submittals, assisting with contract administration, and more they quickly develop the skills and experience they need to succeed.
