Senior Database Developer

(ARA) Southeast Division in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Database Developer. You will be a key member of ARA supporting multiple teams developing enterprise technologies to aid real-world planning operations for the defense and homeland security communities. As a valued member of our team your responsibilities will include:
- Building intuitive, interactive, and flexible database software that addresses complex problems
- Working with customers to elicit and understand requirements
- Working closely with a collaborative team making your team player personality and excellent written/oral communication skills essential
Senior Database Developer Required Technologies and Skills:
Successful candidates will possess an extensive background in 1 or more of the following technologies as well as demonstrate and strong desire to learn 1 or more of these skill sets:
- SQL / Relational Databases (g. PostgreSQL)
- Non-Relational Databases (g. Mongo)
- ORM toolkits
- Java and/or Python
Due to the work you will perform and interactions with Intelligence Community, DHS, and DoD programs, you will need to be a US citizen and eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance. Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements at the time of employment.
Senior Database Developer Required Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science along with 7-9 years of related experience OR 13-15 years of experience in lieu of a degree
