Emergency Communications Ops Supervisor I

Emergency Communications Supervisors at the Bureau of Emergency Communications plan, supervise, coordinate and evaluate the work of operations employees who process a high volume of calls for law enforcement, fire and medical assistance. Additionally, supervisors are directly responsible for ensuring a productive and positive work environment and for consistently contributing to that environment. 
Incumbents play a key role in the effective management of emergency situations, either directly or indirectly, and must be able to think clearly and respond appropriately and professionally under stressful and rapidly evolving conditions. They are also responsible for monitoring the performance of all on-duty personnel as well as for ongoing performance feedback for their assigned employee detail.
