Healthcare Analyst

Engage2Health (e2H) group is looking for a Data Validation Specialist to add to its team in Westlake Village, CA. The core focus of this position will be to generate a variety of Heath Analytics reports for client distribution, utilizing both end user and vendor data. This person will work closely with vendor contacts to communicate data requests/needs and ensure that complete and accurate data is received in a timely manner.

Key areas of emphasis include:
  • Obtaining raw data provided by the client, eliminating any data not pertinent and assembling in a report format that is familiar to all users
  • Validating report quality which may include comparing final reports to raw data output obtained by vendors and ensuring that numbers fall within acceptable value ranges
  • Evaluating efficiency of work flow current methods and procedures, identifying trends indicating the need to revise existing methods and procedures

Applicants for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, economics, biology, or mathematics required
  • Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data validation or analytics required, preferably in a healthcare industry
  • Completion of a pre-med program from an accredited college or university may be substituted for work experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint required
  • Knowledge of program languages (e.g., C++ C, C#, Java, SAS, Visual Basic, Perl, Python, SQL, etc.) preferred
  • Knowledge of Databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, IBM DB2, IBM Informix, PostgreSQL, etc.) preferred
  • Knowledge of Statistical Software (SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Enterprise Guide, SPSS, R, etc.) preferred 
  •  Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required
