Production Planner

Atkore is looking for a highly talented Production Planner to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a hardworking professional who likes meeting challenges and surpassing client expectations.
Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Function as the key person to ensure production compliance to schedule using visual manufacturing techniques, Excel, and Access
  • Enter and maintain all data regarding inventories produced or reconciliations of raw material received
  • Manage material flow for incoming raw and WIP material to support the production schedule
  • As part of the monthly forecasting process, review work center capacity and provide feedback to operations management
  • Support the Scheduling Manager in the weekly scheduling and monthly forecasting processes
  • Routine administrative duties to support the production facilities
  • Manage special projects, continuous improvement activities
 
Qualifications include:
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in inventory management with increasing levels of responsibility and a background in inventory management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Lean/Kanban experience preferred
  • SAP and AS400 experience preferred
  • CPIM certification preferred
