Professional Arts Training Program (PATP)
PROFESSIONAL ARTS TRAINING PROGRAM (PATP) APPRENTICESHIPS NOW OPEN!!!
As your students and alumni seek professional opportunities, I would like to recommend Seattle Rep’s Professional Arts Training Program (PATP). For over 35 years, the PATP has remained one of the nation’s leading continuing theater immersion programs set in a regional theater.
Seattle Rep staff members guide the work of each PATP Apprentice to help prepare them for a career in professional theater and break into the world of not-for-profit arts.
PATP Apprentices…
- undertake responsibilities as members of their teams;
- contribute ideas;
- participate in department and staff meetings;
- complete projects under the guidance of their supervisors;
- and participate in professional workshops and seminars, providing connections with theater staff, guest artists, and members of the Seattle arts community
For the 2021/22 season, we will offer Apprenticeships in Stage Management (2 positions), Directing/Casting, Directing/Literary, Production Management, Lighting Design, Development, and Youth Engagement. All Apprentices will be paid $17/hour during their time with us.
