National Corporate Housing is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst. This person will be an integral member of the Finance team to support National’s growth and profitability. Responsibilities:
- Support companywide forecast through developing forecasting methodologies, building driver-based financial models, statistical analysis, formulating key assumptions, tracking and investigating variances between actuals and projections, and continually refining forecasting process to improve accuracy
- Drive pricing modeling and strategies for group business, provide market consulting, and support training initiatives
- Develop financial models, key performance metrics, scorecards and dashboards to track business performance
- Key player in the annual budgeting process: develop budget template and provide reporting support for operational markets and corporate departments
- Develop reporting package to banking partner(s) including calculations of borrowing base and financial covenants, and KPI’s and financial performance review
- Conduct analysis and develop financial models in support of corporate projects and initiatives
- Drive process improvement to enhance department’s efficiency; identify, analyze, problem solve, and design solutions for business problems
- Extract data from National’s reporting system, and synthesize data into clear, meaningful, and easily understandable reports
- Demonstrate solid understanding and working knowledge of National’s databases and reporting systems, and provide related support to markets
- Support company’s financing efforts through developing company presentations, conducting analysis of financial terms, and facilitating due diligence & closing
- Support company’s acquisition efforts through development of financial models and conducting operational & financial due diligence
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or other business-related fields
- 2+ years experience in annual budgeting, forecasting, finance analysis, statistical analysis, operation finance, and other corporate finance functions
- Experience building financial models
- Experience in performing regression and correlation analysis a plus
- Experience communicating with business unit leaders regarding financials, budgeting, forecasting
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting concepts
- Expert-level skills in MS Excel
- Ability to model complex financial business scenarios
- Superior analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and a sense of urgency; motivated self-starter
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good team player
- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging and fast paced environment
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Maturity, professionalism, and a high level of discretion
